    Hi!

I was wondering if there is some sort of option to be able to have a placeholder image , like the one attached, on products where my client doesn’t have any real images for his products?

    Hi

I’m not sure, you’d be better asking WooCommerce support about this

Hmm, yeah you’re probably right! I go ask there instead, thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hmm.. It seems like there already is a placeholder.png inside “wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/images” but this doesn’t do anything. I guess your theme overrides this I guess? Do you have any idea where I should instead put this image?

I also tried putting this code snippet inside functions.php but it didn’t do anything:

Can you please provide your link so I can inspect the image path

This Product doesn’t have any image uploaded currently

This creates a problem. When the Product is displayed in a “Latest Products” widget, it copies the image from the Product above it. See attached image.

I think the best thing for you to do is upload your placeholder image for the products without an image

Ok, but that seems a bit counter-productive if there already is a placeholder function inside original WooCommerce? ๐Ÿ™‚

And why does one Product copy the Product image next to it? Is that intended?

Can you replicate that issue anywhere else?
