Photo quality / zoom

Hello,

There seems to be an issue with the photo zoom feature.

My images look great before I upload them.
But when viewed on the product page they look lower quality – same when mouse hovered over image and it zooms in.

Are there any settings I can change to fix this?

Hi

The mouse over zoom uses the original image that you upload, the theme does nothing at all to that image, therefore if there is any loss in quality it must be WordPress

The image is blurry, but when you hover, it goes crisp.

If your sure its a wordpress issue, is it fixable?
I’ve never seen wordpress do that to pictures before

Hi,

so basically the image gets put to that frame and gets resized on the fly. It does not get regenerated, it just gets downsized from the original; so if any quality changes occur it happens because of the resizing, we cannot influence that!
