Dear Support Team,
I’m not 100% sure if you can help me or not but I’ll just go ahead.
Using the Dante Theme I also installed a 3rd party plugin for user management which is called UserPro (http://codecanyon.net/item/userpro-user-profiles-with-social-login/5958681?WT.ac=search_item&WT.seg_1=search_item&WT.z_author=DeluxeThemes).
Everything seemed to work well with this plugin when after regularly updating the theme suddenly the permalink structure of the plugin stopped working.
Everytime I click on a user it supposed to forward me to the user profile. However if the internal permalink structure of the plugin is set to username I always get a 404 telling me that this site doesn’t exist.
Here’s one example. The plugin creates the following sites, each of them containing a short code. Those pages are working smooth:
http://therapieclub.wpengine.com/profile/
http://therapieclub.wpengine.com/profile/register/
http://therapieclub.wpengine.com/profile/edit/
http://therapieclub.wpengine.com/profile/login/
http://therapieclub.wpengine.com/members/
http://therapieclub.wpengine.com/logout/
However once there is a username after one the pages (which supposed to be like this) it stops working:
http://therapieclub.wpengine.com/profile/mosebach/
I played around with all kinds of settings both, WP, the plugin itself and the theme but had unfortunately no success re-establishing the normal function as it should be.
I am in touch with the plugin developers too and they weren’t able to find the issue as well.
Therefore, in order just to exclude any other possibilities I’m kindly asking you if you think that the problem may lie in the theme or one of its updates. Did one of your last updates had any changes regarding the permalink structure?
If possible I would also appreciate if you could have a look at my wp-admin in order to check for yourself.
Your help / advice is greatly appreciated.
Best Regards
Alec
