Parallax Scrolling Portfolio

Hi guys,

I’m doing a parallax scrolling portfolio but when I add the video the parallax doesn’t work.
I’ve a few questions:

1. Is there a way to add a vimeo link for the parallax video?

2. Right now i’ve the video hosted on my server. How can I add a player menu? I don’t want the videos
to play automatically.

3. What size should I make the image for the full width option? I have it a 1000px but it looks pixelated.

4. I don’t see the parallax working for the copy blocks.

5. The post is not loading under portfolio category.

Hi

1) I’m afraid not sorry, only self hosted videos are supported for backgrounds

2) From this question and the above, sounds like you just want to display a normal video on the page rather than as a background? If so, just use the video player page builder asset and add your vimeo video

3) If your browser goes larger than 1000px wide then it will start to stretch, so the bigger the better however it will affect load times

4) What do you mean by ‘copy blocks’?

5) I’ve just gone to the category page and the post is the first one? (see screenshot)

– if you go the link above I added some text within the row. But it’s not moving. It’s what says “adweek ad f the day”

– I still don’t see the post within the portfolio layout.

– If you put the video player in a row, set the row to full width, then the video should be a similar size to the one you’re using now

– In parallax sections text scroll normally, it’s the background that creates the parallax effect, however you’re not using an image background

– Try clearing your cache, I’ve just provided you with a screenshot so you can see it is there

I got the video part fixed.

I’ve an image ( second box) that on height is over 1000px. Even when I set the parallax to content height it keeps cropping. What’s the maximum height?

If you want to show the whole image you will have to set the movement type to scroll.
