Hi I’m having an issue on the parallax page elements.
Problem:
The parallax image and text are not showing, unless you drag the mouse over it. Than it suddenly appears.
You can see this problem
– on two parallax elements used on the homepage http://bitpulse.eu
– on the about us page http://bitpulse.eu/about/
Strange enough, on the page http://bitpulse.eu/whatwedo/ this works without any problem.The problem only appears on Chrome Browser.
Any ideas?April 3, 2015 at 8:33 am #162957I’m using also a revolution slider on all the above pages.
I’ve noticed that the problem only appears when the revolution slider contains more than 1 slide. When I only make the first of 5 slides visible on the homepage, the parallax problem is resolved.I really need to use multiple slides on the homepage.
Any ideas how to solve this issue, caused by a conflict between the revolution slider and the parallax?Many thanks.
Steven.April 3, 2015 at 9:20 am #162967I’m not a developer, but I’m trying to debug.
I see in my Chrome web developer tools, when I change the css value ofmedia=”all”
.spb_parallax_asset {
…
overflow:hidden;
…
}into
media=”all”
.spb_parallax_asset {
…
overflow:visible;
…
}When I do the above, the parallax image and text appear.
I already tried to use an additional class (to avoid needing to change one of the core CSS files) and also tried to change the core css file, but I’m not able to get this working.Is this CSS class changed during page load through .js or so?
Any ideas how to solve this issue?
Many thanks,

All the assets show fine to me, are you still experiencing the issue? If so, what browser are you using?

July 29, 2015 at 2:32 am #198768Just wondering if there is any update on this issue (as I have noticed a lot of other people have experienced this issue too). It appears to be Chrome-specific and a caching issue – loading the page for the first few times is fine, but after that you always have to highlight the div to make some of the parallax appear.
I realise this may not be a theme issue (it seemed to only start happening after a Chrome update), but it consistently occurs across all of our websites (we use parallaxes a lot) and we worry that the pages won’t display properly to our clients if they are regularly visiting them.
For reference, here is an example page with parallaxes (http://www.ronin.com.au/)
Thanks

September 21, 2015 at 8:06 am #214809Hi,
We are still experiencing these issues on multiple sites. Our client has forwarded us this screenshot of this page: http://144.130.51.45/~orgfoods/our-farmers/kokotungo-beef/ showing how the parallax image is not showing up. I realise that it is a difficult issue to replicate because it seems to rely on caching etc, but it has been a consistent issue that is still occuring on the website I previously linked (http://www.ronin.com.au/the-results-room-website-design/ for instance, or any of the website design pages).
Any ideas would be appreciated.
September 22, 2015 at 11:24 am #215320Hi,
I can only replicate the parallax not loading until other site assets have loaded, then the image is loaded. Do you get instances where the image does not load even after all other pages assets have completed loading?
This site: http://144.130.51.45/~orgfoods/our-farmers/kokotungo-beef/ has 4 JS erros which could slow down the site load load process.
Let us know the best way to replicate it. I have been trying with multiple refreshing.

September 25, 2015 at 5:42 am #216348Hi,
Yes, the image never seems to load, the only way it shows is if you highlight text over the top of the parallax (as shown in the picture). You might be right about the kokotungo website (we’ve got some guys building a plugin for us, so there may be some errors at the moment), but this issue reliably happens across all of the websites we use parallaxes on.
I don’t know why, but today all of our website design pages aren’t working (some days are better than others, it seems). For instance,
http://www.ronin.com.au/aurasian-website-design/
http://www.ronin.com.au/wastemate-website-design/
http://www.ronin.com.au/total-lifestyle-builders-website-design/And sorry, the only way I know to replicate it is to visit the site regularly. It makes sense that our own website would have issues often because we visit it almost every day.
Thanks

October 29, 2015 at 11:19 pm #224395I am experiencing the same issue on my site homepage using Chrome. Safari it shows fine!
site is: http://www.quaidrealestate.comOctober 30, 2015 at 3:33 pm #224587October 30, 2015 at 3:40 pm #224593@buddyq – can you add the parallax asset to a page on it’s on for us to see what’s going on?
Thanks,
– Ed
October 30, 2015 at 4:36 pm #224635Yes. I just updated to the latest that came out yesterday. The parallax doesn’t even show up in Chrome unless I highlight the text. All you see is the Gold button “LAUNCH VIDEO” located right above the gold property search box.
October 30, 2015 at 4:37 pm #224636Hi Ed,
There is parallax added to the page.
http://www.quaidrealestate.com right on the home page. See my previous post before this one for description.
