Parallax backgrounds no longer working in Google Chrome

Unfortunately, the CSS fix didn’t work for me.

I getting a JavaScript error at in theme-scripts.js at line 1004:

`\Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function $.extend.checkAll

I tried the overflow:visible solution, and it does indeed make the parallax work. However, it also made the background show (about 1-2 cm wide) above the header menu when scrolling. So in that sense it does not work for me.

Any fix for that?

Hi All,

I have a website that uses both window height and fixed height parallax.

The ‘overflow’ fix worked great for fixed height parallax but the same issue exists with any window height parallax.

For me the issue still persists even with that code. Also if you look further down the page, the animated icon boxes are also displaying improperly. Please advise. Thanks.

• The #container style edit

Kyle – just to let you know: the ‘overflow’ fix caused a) a shown and scrollable width of the page as anderszvensson mentioned above and b) a flickering of the animated icon boxes in Chrome.

I would really like to use the parallax elements, not with these problems though.

Just to let you know that I also have the same problems. I use Dante for several websites and got calls from a lot of upset customers. I feel powerless and don’t know what to tell them.

Good news, bad news

Good news is that my Fixed Parallax images are working again.

Bad news, Sticky Headers are not. I’ve opened a new thread with the following info.

After 2.75 update, Sticky Header is a hit and miss for working.

Tested…
Chrome – homepage does not stick, but services page does
FireFox – all pages stick
Safari – homepage does not stick, but services page does
