Hi guys, adding a text block to the side of my image slider, and no matter what i use in the ‘text’ version, once it saves, it strips out any code and jams the paragraphs into one big paragraph. have tried br tag, p tag and even a space tag with no such luck. Thanks.

    Hi

These tags are not required in the wordpress editor

hi Kyle, i didnt think they were, but i thought I would try them at any rate.. so why is the paragraph spacing stripping out? Its squishing all three paragraphs into one long chunk of text.

Can you provide me with a login so I can check this? It doesn’t happen on my demo

Can you try deactivating all of your plugins and try again?

Hi Kyle, do you want me to disable all plugins that are ‘woo commerce’ plugins too? or just the ones that didnt come with the theme or with woo commerce?

Disable everything other than swift framework just whilst we test the issue

hi Kyle, its July 23 (Thursday) PST and i’ve disabled all plugins except for Swift Framework. The paragraph formatting on the site main page text area (to the right of the slider) works now!

    http://nightmaircreative.com

do i now test each plugin one at a time to find out which is causing the conflict or you guys test the issue? thanks!

i decided to re activate the plugins one at a time and see if i can figure which one is causing the issue.. and none of them seem to be! The formatting on the text block is the way it should be – with paragraph spacing intact. so problem solved for now! However,, when i deactivated the plugins, it scrambled my front page a bit.. i should be able to go back and add the elements again and it should be fine yes?

question for you too! i have some plugins left over from the last theme i purchased, and i should have deleted them but wasnt sure what they were or if they were theme or woo commerce plugins.. maybe you can let me know if these are Swift plugins or not and if not i can delete them.

WP Dance Team plugins called: WD Team, WD Slide, WD short code, WD Portfolio, WD shop by color and WD quick shop. Also oAuth Twitter Feed for Developers (which I am not using as i dont have a twitter). if this is a Swift plugin, and i’m not using it can i delete it okay? or should it be activated regardless if its one of the plugins the theme needs? thanks!

    Hi

You don’t need to any of those plugins, all of the WD ones sound like they were from the theme, all of these things are built into the swift framework so you don’t need those. For the twitter plugin, yes it is from the theme but it is only for users who are using the twitter feeds, if you’re not then you should delete it
