Pagebuilder not working after WP update

A client of mine uses your theme. After WP was automatically updated to version 4.5 the pagebuilder stopped working.

When I select the pagebuilder view, it says there’s no content but when I switch to the html text view there clearly is content.

Any ideas on what’s causing this?

I just cleared the cache (in Chrome) and nothing changed. I also tried opening the site in an incognito browser but to no avail. The pagebuilder still says there’s no content although there is content in the editor. However the content is not immediately visible. I first have to switch to the html text editor before I get to see the content …

Hi,
Actually that you dont have page builder content. You inserted the text through HTML mode editor. While Swift page builder add content that is created by itself.

My client actually did use the pagebuilder to build the pages. You can clearly tell by looking at the html. It clearly shows the spb shortcodes …

What’s more is that on the staging site, where WP wasn’t updated, the pagebuilder still works as before

Hi,

I updated the theme and now the pagebuilder shows the content blocks/elements again but when I want to edit them, something’s still wrong. Inside the editor of the pagebuilder, I still have to switch to the html view to see the content, in the visual editor it shows nothing. What’s more is that nothing happens when I click on Cancel or Save in the top right corner of the pop-up from the pagebuilder.

Any ideas?

As you can see, when I open the Text Block element, it shows nothing in the visual editor but when I switch to the text editor, it clearly shows that there’s text/code. When I click Cancel or Save to close the Text Block element, it also does nothing. I have to reload the page to be able to do something.

Hi,
Please deactivate all plugins except Swift Framework and check for issue. Activate the plugin one by one to find the problematic plugin(s).
