page title bg / breadcrumbs on search results page

Hi – I would like to change the page title background color and remove breadcrumbs for the sake of consistency on my search results page. If I can’t remove breadcrumbs, I would at least like to change the page title bg color. Otherwise, it doesn’t match the rest of my site.

I’m including a screen shot from the top part of the search page and one from one of the pages in my site so you see what I mean.

You can remove the breadcrumbs with #breadcrumbs {display:none;} to the custom css option.

Thank you. That is very helpful.

But the most important thing to me is to change the page title background color, because right now the page doesn’t look like it belongs to the rest of the site.

Hi, maybe you can phrase your questions better next time? You said the first priority is to remove the breadcrumbs, and only if that doesn’t work you need the other information…

@creatorofstuff – You can change the background colour for the asset backgrounds in Theme Options > Asset Background Options.

There you can set the background and text colour for the ALT TWO configuration.

I already did that a long time ago when I first set up my site, and have been using alt two for my page title backgrounds throughout my site.

However, there is no place to assign this for the search results page. This page continues to have a light grey page title background, as I have demonstrated in the images above. This is the page I need to fix. How can I do this?
