Page Scrolling is very choppy

The page scrolling on the website is very choppy and not smooth at all when scrolling vertically. I’ve tried on Safari and Chrome for MAC. It seems to jump a little as I try to scroll.

I’m experiencing a similar issue when scrolling on an iPhone 5 (Safari). It’s way more noticeable on the iPhone.

I’m using the most up to date version of the Neighborhood theme and WordPress 3.6.1. I also checked the theme’s demo site and I’m experiencing the same problem. http://neighborhood.swiftideas.net/

Hi, we don’t experience this. Can you try another computer? Maybe your computer cannot handle the theme well enough?

Hey, just another theme user here.
I looked at http://conekt.co and the reason your scrolling is slow is because of the LARGE images files. Conekt_city_page*.jpgare all > 300kb. That home page is 4.2mb which is A LOT if you expect it to scroll smoothly.
