    Hi,

I can only include images – not video – into the page header/slider.
I’ve also tried using the SWIFT slider and Revolution slider instead – I still get no video, only a grey page.

The video files are functioning, as I can watch the video in my WordPress media. The files are uploaded to the slide in MP4, OGG & WebM. Furthermore, I have made the files public in a Google Drive folder and embedded a link to all 3 video types into the link boxes on the slide.

I can see that the Atelier video with sunglasses (which is functioning), is uploaded through links via Amazon s3. Is this really the only way, or am I doing something else wrong?

    Appreciate the help

    Hi

Looks like you’ve uploaded both the video and set the link, you only need to do one. If you’re using links they must end in .mp4, .webm or .ogg

    What size is your video?

    Thanks,

I’ve changed the files to .Mp4 .Ogg & .Webme
Tried with the links only & also with the videos only – no luck.

Video width = 854, Height = 480. –> 9,3mb. (Could this be the problem, and if – how would you fix it the best/easiest way?)

The video is just a tester for the look of the website as well as video content.
Will make a 720p one when all details are in place.

    Hey,

I am looking into this, looks like many console JS errors (see screenshot.)

Please hold whilst I investigate this.

    Thanks,

    David.

    FYI, regarding the SWIFT slider:

The Error message is stating an old file, which i have removed from the media directory.
The new one I’m trying to use is simply called “video.mp4”, “Video.webm” & “Video.ogg”
They are still in the media folder.

    Regarding the Revolution slider:
I’m linking to a YouTube video, which does not display – I don’t know why.
This video is functioning in the widget(right side) on this page: http://funkybird.dk/?page_id=15391

    Thank you for the help!

    Hey,

You had almost everything right, just one setting needed changing: Dashboard => Swift Slider => Edit FunkyB Test => Slide Background => Background type => Video.

The above was set to Background type => Image. This caused the errors.

    Now working:

    http://funkybird.dk/?page_id=13178

    http://funkybird.dk/

    I also:

    1) Renamed videos from: file-name.MP4.mp4 to file-name_MP4.mp4.

    2) Cleared out your cache.

    Thanks,

    David.
