    Hi,

Apologies if I’m being a bit thick, but I can’t seem to get my head around how Pagebuilder works, in terms of how it structures layout and page elements.

In the previous theme I used, I was able to create a row, give it background settings and then place a 2/3 1/3 row within that so that it maintained the bgnd properties of it’s container. Within the 2/3 1/3 containers, I could stack whatever I wanted (and add additional bgnd properties) and would only get a new row if I added it below the first row/container.

Why is it that I can drag & drop some elements into some rows but not others? Ultimately what I’m trying to create is a full width coloured panel, with a background image top and bottom, repeat-x, and a 2/3 1/3 row in the middle with content – the middle section must also have a coloured background and repeating texture (x&y). I’ve managed to achieve that, but it wasn’t easy as sometimes the elements will go into the containing row, sometimes they won’t.

Also, when I try to stack a 2/3 element below another 2/3 element, it pushes the 2nd item onto a new row. For instance, I have a 2/3 1/3 layout, tall image in the 1/3 and I want 2 elements to take up the vertical space in the remaining 2/3 area. However when I add the 2nd 2/3 item, it forces it onto a new row, leaving a large gap in my layout. Is there a way around this in Pagebuilder or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be very welcome.

    Thanks!!
