I am trying to edit some pages on my site, but when I go to the page builder area, I just get “Loading, please wait…” and nothing happens.
If I refresh the page, the whole area is hidden, and I have to go up to the top and select the builder in the ‘screen options’ area. It then appears again but just with the loading dialogue.

I have tried deactivating all plugins, but nothing changes.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Do you have php code like <?php //code ?> in page content?
    Thanks
    Mohammad

    I don’t think so.
I have changed nothing on this particular page in over a year. It’s the case on all pages though, even if I create a new page.

    Hi,

Just realized you don’t have TinyMce Editor that comes by default with WordPress.
Our page builder need that to work. Maybe something wrong in your install.

Did made anything to TinyMce Editor? Jusk asking

    Hi Rui,

    Never heard of it…
I have no idea why it’s not there. How do I add it?

It comes by default in WordPress, maybe your install is corrupted or missing some files.

Better to replace again the WordPress files.

Thanks Rui, I will do that.
Is there an easy way of doing this so I don’t replace anything that shouldn’t be replaced?
So for instance, I won’t upload wp-content – is there anything else I should not upload?

    Hi Rui,
I went ahead and uploaded everything except from wp-config and the content directory.
Nothing seems to have changed though…

Just a thought – I suffered a hack through the Rev Slider, and got a manual update from you guys.
I wonder if that is relevant?

The relevant here is that because of the attack you can still have some vulnerability because of the attack, and they could have done something again(or not).

Always better to create a new install and migrate in those situations.

    Hi Rui,

Is there any way I can do that without losing all the settings I have with the theme?
Literally everything is working fine, wordfence is coming up clean on a scan – the only thing that isn’t working is the page builder.

    Hi Rui,

Just an update on where I am at.

I exported through word press and then did a clean install.
I added the theme and tested the page builder, which worked. So I imported the pages, posts and whatnot and it’s back not working.

So it’s not an issue with any of the plugins – as they weren’t there on that version.

It’s really a mystery to me. I don’t want to have to recreate all the pages, posts, folio pieces etc.

    Any ideas?

    R
