I’m not sure if this is related but in CLASSIC MODE the SWIFT FRAMEWORK SHORTCODES button doesn’t input any codes… once you generate the code the tex field is blank. Any help?
April 17, 2014 at 8:13 am #67899THANKS a lot for this quick update. New editor is now showing well.
However the shortcodes are still rendering with messy <br/> and <p> :-/ …
April 17, 2014 at 5:00 pm #68138HI,
Have you updated to latest version of theme 2.53 ?Thanks ๐
With Best Regards
Swift IdeasApril 17, 2014 at 5:12 pm #68141Hi Mohammad,
yes I was already in 2.5.3 when making my previous comment.
April 17, 2014 at 6:06 pm #68167Thanks.. the update fixed this…
April 17, 2014 at 7:15 pm #68183Look like its fixed for me as well.
April 17, 2014 at 7:20 pm #68184For the main editor shortcodes the update has worked.
But for shortcodes inside text fields (‘nested’) the new WP editor is messing with br and p tags.
Using
remove_filter( 'the_content', 'wpautop' );
will definitely mess all my pages, while removing added p&br tags is also messy :-/A simple example :
unordered list shortcode :[list] [list_item icon="ss-plus"] Standard Rooms : 30 m2 / 323 sq ft[/list_item] [list_item icon="ss-plus"] Free Broadband WiFi internet[/list_item] [list_item icon="ss-plus"] TV LCD - HD[/list_item] [/list]
Render :
<p>[list]<br /> [list_item icon=”ss-plus”] Standard Rooms : 30 m2 / 323 sq ft[/list_item]<br /> [list_item icon=”ss-plus”] Free Broadband WiFi internet[/list_item]<br /> [list_item icon=”ss-plus”] TV LCD – HD[/list_item]<br />[/list]</p>

April 17, 2014 at 7:41 pm #68190@wylesight – is this in the standard WordPress content editor (not page builder)?
Checking here – all outputting fine..

April 17, 2014 at 8:05 pm #68194Hi Ed, not sure.. I’m talking about editor I think :
In my example above, the code is inserted through a text block.
> it happens when we need to use the ‘wysiwyg’ shortcodes (lists, buttons, icons, etc…)
> it also happens when we ‘hardcode’ page builder shortcodes into text blocks (it was necessary for columns before you released the ‘row’ shortcode ๐For new content we could use Raw HTML shortcode maybe… but I’ve tested and here is the default render:
<p>This is a raw html block.<br/>Click the edit button to change this html.</p>
http://d.pr/i/aF6WIt can easily be correcte for new content, but :
– behaviour is really annoying and not user friendly
– it’s a total mess for already created contentApril 17, 2014 at 10:28 pm #68204@wylesight – can you detail any steps to accurately replicate this? I tested the above shortcode text, and it worked fine (note that when I copied it, it was copied with p tags around it – might be your issue?)

April 17, 2014 at 10:42 pm #68205April 18, 2014 at 8:13 am #68259Thought I’d jump in here rather than open a new thread about a Page Builder issue.
I’m having a little trouble where I can’t see the option to go into page builder mode at all? Seems really odd and recently updated to WP 3.9 and Dante 2.53.
Basically when I go to write a post or make a page I get this in the editor:
I checked my wp-content/themes/dante.. (etc) folder for page builder and all seems to be there and refreshed both the WP3.9 install and Dante 2.53 installs manually via FTP after attempting the WP CMS install, but no luck.
Any advice? Seems really odd ๐
April 18, 2014 at 9:24 am #68285@wylesight – ahh I see. That is purely for visual purposes on the backend though, so it’s easier to edit due to being on new lines.
If you check the frontend, they won’t be output.
@Began – looks like you may have a JS conflict on the page, can you try updating all plugins / disabling all to see if one is causing an issue?– Ed
April 18, 2014 at 9:50 am #68310@Ed – no, this IS the issue: they are outputting on the frontend..
