Using WordPress 3.9 and Dante 2.52, I can no longer edit text blocks in Page Builder. Appreciate some swift support on this as I have a project about to go live.
April 16, 2014 at 6:58 pm #67758To clarify, all text blocks appear as blank in edit mode.
April 16, 2014 at 7:11 pm #67765Same here !
+ hugly <br/> and <p> tags appeared everywhere !! Arggghh
April 16, 2014 at 7:27 pm #67769It appears the existing text is there, but white on white.
April 16, 2014 at 7:28 pm #67770Swift Editor definitely seems to mess up with new WP3.9 text editor..
My main issue is about br and p tags, and it is really messing out all the pages of one of my clients.
If I remove the filter wpautop
remove_filter( 'the_content', 'wpautop' );
it is also messing up, of course.. We’re stuck here and really need some fixes !!!!!
April 16, 2014 at 7:37 pm #67771Hey there, the theme has not been approved for 3.9 yet, but I will forward this to the developer so he can check back.
In general I recommend not updating anything that has not been approved to be compatible officially.
Thank you!
April 16, 2014 at 7:38 pm #67772Too Late already updated … Same trouble here hoping to go live this week.
April 16, 2014 at 7:40 pm #67777Yes @alexvald : the VISUAL editor inside Swifteditor is displaying has TEXT editor, but white on white, without any button : http://d.pr/i/1GmGaR
The TEXT editor in Swiftbuilder looks ok, but I have big issues with br and p tags (see below)
http://d.pr/i/NKwWWhen switching back to classic view (no Swiftbuilder), everything looks fine :
http://d.pr/i/tt2WBut above the editor, I think shortcodes are causing problems :
In editor I have :
[spb_text_block pb_margin_bottom="no" pb_border_bottom="no" width="1/1" el_position="first last"] For those participants arriving in Barcelona a few days earlier, there will be a pre-summit programme with visits to some family businesses that are members of the IEF. Keeping with the FBN philosophy, the visit of family businesses is strongly encouraged as a part of the academic program and the events that are organized. [/spb_text_block] [blank_spacer height="0" width="1/1" el_position="first last"] [spb_text_block pb_margin_bottom="no" pb_border_bottom="no" width="1/1" el_position="first last"] [table type="striped_minimal"] [trow] [thcol]Family Visit[/thcol] [thcol]Departure Time[/thcol] [thcol]Meeting Point[/thcol] [/trow] ETC....
In outpout I have :
<div class="container"> <div class="row"> <div class="spb_content_element col-sm-12 spb_text_column"> <div class="spb_wrapper clearfix"> <p></p> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <br></br> <table class="sf-table striped_minimal"></table> <p></p> </div> </div> </div> </div>
Which looks like : http://d.pr/i/Nb5y
THIS IS REALLY A PROBLEM !!!!!
April 16, 2014 at 7:44 pm #67782@melanie : or do not release not approved themes considering it appears in auto-update without any notice !!!
April 16, 2014 at 7:47 pm #67785Hey, as you already mentioned the auto update happens without any notice, so we didn’t know it would happen!
Thank you for the patience until the developer gets back to you guys!
April 16, 2014 at 7:50 pm #67788In case it is useful, switching to the text editor displays the content, but with the aforementioned tags. Trying to insert media into a text block doesn’t appear to work at all.
April 16, 2014 at 7:58 pm #67793We’ll get this fixed for you, guaranteed! Thank you so much for the patience in the meantime!
April 17, 2014 at 12:35 am #67829Hey guys!

April 17, 2014 at 12:44 am #67832Just investigating an issue with the shortcode generator on 3.9.

April 17, 2014 at 3:01 am #67843You should see the auto-update in the next hour or so! Let us know how you get on with it. Any issues, try clearing your cache.
Thanks,
– Ed
