    I was trying to see if I could use CSS to move a 2/3 text block to the center of the content area. Thought it might be possible to do this with a class to override asset styling. Here’s what I tried (it didn’t work).

    I put this in my custom CSS:

    /* #Text Block float center
    ================================================== */
    }
    .tbfc {position: relative;
    margin-right: 4%;
    float: center;!important;}

    and then added “tbfc” to the Extra class name in the text block editor.

    Can it be done? If so, was I even close?

    Hi,

    I guess that won’t work.
    Can you provide us the url of that page you are trying to change?

    Hi Rui, thanks for responding.

    I was just experimenting on a test site, so I don’t really have a specific page, although I can create one if you don’t have a test site for working on these things.

    My objective was to create a narrower page appearance by reducing the size of a text block to 2/3 and then getting it to center align. Is there a way to do that?

    OK, here’s a sales page I am working on and if possible, I’d like to use 3/4 or 2/3 size text blocks for most of it, but they need to be centered in the content area. This would narrow the page visually without effecting the responsiveness.

    There is no issue. It is something I am trying to do with CSS and I don’t know if it can be done. That’s why providing a URL was pointless. Here’s what I want to do, I just need to know is there is a way to do it.

    Swift page builder > Choose elements > Text block

    Now, when you reduce the text block to 3/4 size it stays aligned to the left.

    Can the text block itself (not the text inside it) be shifted to align center using CSS?
