    Why my last post was deleted is beyond me?

    I asked how to fix on the below:

    Why does the symbol in the top right of the product image “out of stock” not show when the product is marked out of stock for a variation ?

    This is only happens for products that have variations.

    For a simple product it works fine and displays this symbol+text in top right corner of the image perfectly.

    But if the products are variation e.g. medium, large then nothing displayed.

    Hi

    That’s because variable products are not one product, so one variation may be out of stock but another might not. This is WooCommerce functionality not the theme’s

    Hi,
    Please use this custom css code:-
    .woocommerce span.onsale, .woocommerce .wc-new-badge, .woocommerce .out-of-stock-badge, .woocommerce .free-badge{z-index:10 !important;}
    Thanks

    OK, but if both varaiable products are out of stock this should show ?

    e.g. medium and large both out of stock (these are two different types)

    If one type e.g. large was in stock then I would understand why it would not show.

    Unfortunately Mohammad that custom code did not work.

    thanks
