So when browsing products, I noticed that products that are out of stock are not classified as ‘out of stock’. When you hover over the product image instead of the usual ‘add to cart’ it says ‘read more’. In the actual product page it says out of stock, but the user should be able to see when browsing products which are out of stock. There must be an easy way to show this that I’m missing?

    Hi!

This sure is possible, but I’m afraid it’s not built into the theme and would have to be modified especially for you. We’d love to help you with this customization but we are only able to provide support for basic theme issues and bug fixes. We do provide support for small customizations but unfortunately this request is beyond that. Please see our general policy and guidelines for more info. You could also hire a developer to help you with your customizations.

    Thank you for understanding!
    Cheers!

How do the ribbons work (new/sale etc) – I’m thinking of somehow using those to accomplish what I want (have a ribbon for out of stock). Are they editable and where in the theme to go tweak that?

The new ribbon appears for every item which is younger than 7 days, the sale item appears if you add a sale price. All the best

Where exactly in the theme can I go tweak these ribbons?

    Tweak in terms of what?
You can have a search for “sale” within the theme folder to find all files associated with the “sale” topic and so on.

You will need to hire a developer if you need detailed help about modifying the theme’s features tho.

    Cheers
