Out of stock items

Dear Madam/Sir,

I have one questions:

1- some items in my shop are out of stock, I would like the customers be able to buy them despite that as we have stock arriving. I have chosen the option to allow shopping and notify client, but still does not allow the customer to add the item in the basket and proceed to payment. They can only add it to the wish list

Hi Fariba,

I don’t believe this is possible as default, are you using a 3rd party plugin to do this? If not you may need to use a plugin that allows orders of out of stock product.

Thanks for your reply. But why on product page there is a section for “allow back orders”. Please see attached screen shot.

Guess you are right it seems to be a default functionality in Woocommerce.

can you activate the default theme Twenty Sixteen and try again to see what happens?
