Original slider disappears and duplicate slider from body appears on home page

I tried posting this issue a few minutes ago, but not sure if it got went through. In any case, I’m having issues with getting the header slider of Corporate Demo 4 to appear.

I thought I may have done something wrong, so I started with a fresh installation of everything, including Word Press 4.0, the Cardinal 1.8 theme, and the plugin to import the sample files.

Once I’m done importing the demo files and view the site, everything appears fine (Screenshot_2.png). However, once I go to Home page in WP and simply hit “Update” although I haven’t really made any changes to it, the original slider goes away and I end up with a duplicate of the one that is further down the page (Screenshot_3.png). I attached a couple of screen shotes.

Can you check again?

Don’t know why but the slides categories weren’t working. Just assigned the categories again and choose the Slider if the Category Home in the Homepage meta.
