Hey folks,
I have been playing with the Uplift theme and so far, very nice. =) However, I have a fresh install of Worpdress with only the theme specific plugins, but I notice that when I turn off things such as the footer, the footer still shows. Shortcodes don’t work in Widgets and I just imported a demo version, so it is not as I have added the code incorrectly.
You can see it here at the bottom: http://shingen.ca/dev/
Also, the docs you have provided seem to be missing a lot of what Uplift has to offer, unless I am missing something. The one option that I am looking for is the “One Page” navigation.
Thanks for your help and hopefully this is an easy fix. =)
Cheers

Glad you are enjoying the theme.
Can you provide some admin credentials in a private reply so I can have a look at the options behaviour? Thanks

May 10, 2016 at 2:31 pm #266469Hi @shingen
Looks like you may be missing the Swift Framework plugin? Please can you check that.
Thanks for the heads up – here is the article in the docs for it – http://uplift.swiftideas.com/documentation/2016/05/10/one-page-navigation/

As for the Swift plugin, yes I do have that installed.

Also, the “hide menu item” option within the navigation is not working/hiding anything.
Cheers
MikeMay 10, 2016 at 5:58 pm #266528We already replicate it locally, and we will fix it and send an update during the week so don’t worry with that for now.
Thanks-Rui

-RuiMay 13, 2016 at 6:00 pm #267453Hey folks,
Is there an ETA on this fix? I have not been able to use this theme at all because of this … frustrating as I have paid money for something I cannot use right off the bat.
May 13, 2016 at 6:37 pm #267464Hi @shingen,
Here is a fixed build with the fixes so far ready for next release, including the footer fix – http://swiftideas.d.pr/QNwr/5xr0VLEj
See this guide on how to update manually: http://www.swiftideas.com/knowledgebase/how-to-manually-update-your-theme/
Can you let us know the “hide menu item” option you are referring to?
Thanks,
– Ed
