    Hi,
    this is an odd issue: a specific page http://wp.adg.it/inglese/lifedrawing.html won’t publish and I receive error 404. I tried many times to trash it a make a new one but no way. in wordpress support I couldn’t find a solution. can you help me?

    Hi,

    Guess you are using some kind of plugin to the url end in .html
    Can you try to save again your permalinks.

    Yes I’m using custom permalink, but this issue happens just with this page. what do you mean “save again your permalinks”?

    Go to Settings-> Permalinks and hit the save button again.
    If is not that not sure what it is.

    Try to change slightly the page name, maybe some slug conflict.

    yes it works, if I just add a letter the page is ok. the problem is that I need that link!

    Probably you already created it for something else. A category name, tag, etc

    Try to add a small word that don’t change the meaning you want to give like “the-life-drawing” “an-life-drawing”

    there were a category with the same name but I deleted it.
    I’ve just sorted out that now it’s happening to all posts!

    Yes I updated the permalinks and it’s working. the lifedrawing page still doesn’t work. It’s an old link and I’d like to use it: could be a problem in the database?
