I’m using ability for a website on http://www.studiogeenen.com
I also use the domain alias http://www.bramgeenen.com
On the domain alias not all content is loaded.
-content from a full width template page
-info from the portfolio items is not loaded when you click on them
    Console:
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://www.studiogeenen.com/?page_id=13. Origin http://www.bramgeenen.com is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

    Hi,

Sorry I didn’t understand your question, can you rephrase it?

    Thanks,

I’m using ability for a website on http://www.studiogeenen.com
I also use the domain alias http://www.bramgeenen.com

When I visit the website via the url of the domain alias (www.bramgeenen.com), then on the homepage not all content is being loaded.
When I visit the other url it works fine.

    Console:
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://www.studiogeenen.com/?page_id=13. Origin http://www.bramgeenen.com is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

    Hi,

Its weird, did you export the site and import it here. I think something broke that, and it still point to its older page. Check the info page URL in the menu.

    Thanks,
    laranz.

I didn’t export and import the site.
The URL in the menu also looks fine. And I think if the URL would be wrong it also would’t work on the main domain.
Could it be something with security settings of my hosting provider?

    Hi there,

It’s because AJAX isn’t allowed cross domain due to security reasons. This is a jQuery limitation.

Is there any way that I could still use both domains?
For example only use the main domain and redirect the domain alias to the main domain?
    Thanks for helping out!

    Hi,

You mean you keep only one domain, and if you enter the alias domain you need to redirect to the main domain? Contact your host they will help you out.

    Thanks,
    laranz.
