Non-breaking space code messing up my layouts

I keep getting non-breaking space codes (” “) randomly appear at the top and bottom of elements, completely throwing of the spacing. I have to go in and manually edit each element to remove this code, which is incredibly time-consuming.

If you go to the very bottom of the page I’ve referenced above and look at both of the very bottom elements, you’ll see what I mean (I did not put those in), nor did I put a carriage return anywhere within either the Visual or the Text mode. I’ve left them for now, but will have to go back in and erase them.
