Hi,
I have been working on this website for a client of mine, but the website is working very slow on the front end as well as while working on the Admin section. I had even contacted my hosting support, and they updated the PHP.ini and they said that I need to get in touch with the Theme support team. I have even installed “W3 Total Cache”plugin to speed up the website, but still the website is way too slow. Pleas help me in speeding up the front end and the Admin section.Thanks-

ThomasSeptember 17, 2015 at 12:26 pm #214107You can register the code in your profile page.
http://www.swiftideas.com/forums/users/thomas/From what I look at your site much of it it’s due to the large page size from the images with 600kb

September 17, 2015 at 12:31 pm #214112Hi,
I have added the code now. Coming to my issue, not only the website’s front end, but even the backend is way too slow. Please help…
Thanks-
ThomasSeptember 17, 2015 at 12:37 pm #214118You are using only 40Mb of memory in WordPress settings. Adjust/add you WordPress memory settings inside the wp-config.php file
Change your WordPress memory to 128M or a maximum 256M.
Also check the official documentation from WordPress in the link below.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHPThis will help but the hosting speed is also important and some hosting are way much faster than others(they will all say that they are fast).

September 17, 2015 at 12:51 pm #214127What should be a normal load time for the homepage based on your theme?
Thanks-
ThomasSeptember 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm #214138Well that depends always in the page load size.
This is the stats of our site that is hosted in WP Engine.(around 4 seconds)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9n82hsplqk209qt/Screenshot%202015-09-17%2012.58.33.png?dl=0Our biggest images have around 150 / 200kb

September 17, 2015 at 1:03 pm #214139And what about the Admin section, that too is very Slow. Can that be fixed?
Thanks-
ThomasSeptember 17, 2015 at 1:56 pm #214162If it doesn’t get better after changing the WordPress memory, then check with your hosting if the PHP has any small memory limit and ask to increase to 256M.
Also try to disable all plugins except Swift Framework and Woocommerce, because depending in the code of the plugins they can slow down a website.
If none of this improves the admin speed, then it’s up to your hosting speed.
hope it helps.
