My site load extremely slow

Hi there,

I ve read previous threads and I ve read and tried a lot of things but my performances are still far away from the desired ones

Before you says it is the content or the server I can says no, as moving to twentythirteen the website loads in 1-2 seconds while with neighborhood it loads in 10-15 seconds (the majority of which are the time you spend to load before it starts rendering the page).

Having said that, it is clearly theme + plugins (which I ve tried to reduce), but some of them are even recommernded by your theme as WPML, woocommerce, etc..

If i disable all teh plugins except from woocommerce the loading time is triple compared to twenty thirteen (so the issue is not just related to the plugins)

And FYI I have already compressed images (now around 30 kb), minifyed CSS and JS, cached everything with w3 total cache (+ max cdn), I ve installed APC on my VPS, i ve tried cloudflare, etc.

So please have a look at it, as I will be forced to move to another theme as this issue would kill my user experience

Hi Fabio,

First, you can’t compare TwentyThirteen with Neighborhood. The default WP theme is an extremely simple theme, while ours is much more complex and loads much more stuff that you are making use of.
If you were to disable sliders and have just a few posts on your front page, they would be much closer.

I tested your site and, from just over 9 seconds it took to fully load, 5 seconds were spent looking up your host – so the theme basically loads in a little over 4 seconds which, for such complex E-commerce theme, I would say is fair enough.
