My portfolio doesn't look like the demo's

I can’t seem to replicate the example portfolio from the example site:

Desert Mini Planet

I even tried using the same image as your portfolio thinking my images were too wide. It’s not exactly clear through the examples and documentation how to reproduce the look and functionality of the different views provided in the examples.

I would also like to have a slider in one of the portfolio items like you show on this page:

Hi,

No problem, both require simple tweaks to the meta options:

1) Meta Options => Portfolio Meta => Main Detail Options => => Media Display => Split Media / Display

2) Meta Options => Detail Media Options => Post detail type => Standard Slider or Rev’ Slider.

Great! Almost there. I managed to get the slider to fullwidth but:

• I do not see my navigation arrows on the sides. The mouse acts like there is a link where the arrows should be though.
• My “Love it” box seems just slightly larger than the rest of the social boxes.

1) As you are using a child theme, the arrow path is relative and these images (arrow left/right) will need to be copied into your child theme images directory.

2) Please add this CSS to your theme options:

.share-links ul li > div {
    padding: 7px 16px 6px;
}
