Multiple Main Menu

Hi Swiftideas-Team

First of all, I would like to thank you for such a beautiful, multi featured yet still so simple Theme. 🙂

I would like to make a Landing page with two buttons, for two persons.

For example:
Dr. Adam / Dr. Eva

If you click on one of them, their own Main Menu should appear.
Both should have a site called Contact etc., and not contact and contact 2.

I would love to work with folders but i could not figure out how that works.

Example: test.ch/dr-adam/contact
test.ch/dr-eva/contact

An other question: How can in add a Team member to the Main Menu?

Hi

This is quite a complex request, you would have to hire a developer to help you with that. I would say the easiest way is create 2 separate installs, one for each of the people.

I am sorry, I did not know that this is a complex thing. I thought that i could just copy and paste some Code and I would have two Main Menus to decide from.

Do you mean with two separate installs that each one would have an own WP with Database?
Example:
http://www.test.ch (Landing page)
http://www.test.ch/dr-adam (own WP)
http://www.test.ch/dr-eva (own WP)

How would i connect the Landing page?

As for the menu, it is complex because the header.php file runs through every page, therefore the header and menu has to be the same for every page. So if you wanted to have different headers/menus you would have to do some serious file editing, or like I said have separate installs.

Yes that is exactly what I mean, not sure what you mean by connect the landing page? You would just have the 2 buttons on the page each linking to the correct WordPress site.

I will do it diffrently (printscreen).

I just have to figure out how i put the Team-Member as a header/menu.

Is it possible to have for each one a site called contact? It has to display contact by each one, but it can have a diffrent link: contact.html / contact2.html.

To add a team member in the menu, please follow this guide: http://dante.swiftideas.net/documentation/#menus

You need to add a team member element on a page, switch to ‘visual’ editor and copy the shortcode. Then paste the shortcode in the html menu item.

Not sure what you mean in your second question?
