Hi,
When uplaoding media images i get up to 25 extra images in the uploades file.
When the theme is disabled i only get 4 images. See attachment. All plugins were disabled too. This is creating a very large uploads file and appears to be theme related. Can you fix this?

Hi @LSX

This is the way WordPress works in relation to image sizes. We set the image sizes used within the theme, and when you upload an image WordPress will resize to each size, ready for use when it’s used within the theme. This saves valuable time on page loads, and is more than worth the extra space taken.

The reason you only have 4 without the theme enabled is because the default theme doesn’t use any set image sizes.
