Modifying and Setting up (new) Pages

Hi there,
As I am unable to locate section on modifying theme/page template (layout, content, etc) from the documentation, I have gone and deleted most of the demo-imported pages so as to “start from ground zero”.

In doing so, I created a homepage and noticed that the permalink now reads http://www.xxx.com/home-3, which I can’t seem to edit to http://www.xxx.com/home. What could be the problem here?

In the Swift Page Builder, I cannot see that there is a pre-built pages option (as per your document). Also, I don’t know what saved template option is for, and how this differs from saved element option.

I’m doing all this on the child theme, unless this is where I’m going wrong? Please help, thank you (and sorry for the barrage of questions/problems)

Hi, figured out how to fix the permalink issue.

Which leaves me with this query, should there be a pre-built pages option in the Swift Page Builder?

Where can I get more help on modifying theme/page template (layout, content, etc) as this is not available in the documentation?

Hi,

Maybe that’s wrong in the documentation.
Now we only have Templates and elements.

You can use the template to save an entire page and use it has a model. You can use the save element for instance to display the same map in several pages.

There is also other concept called SPB Section where you can whatever you want just like a regular page and use the Page builder to include that specific SPB section in that page. When you change your SPB section you are changing it in all the places it was included.
