We’re going to hopefully be releasing the next update this week.

For the rss feed issue, it actually looks like there is a p tag being closed without one being open. Where you have that dropcap, what you want to do is make sure the text is on a new line, so that the shortcode is on it’s own line.

    Try that.

    Cool, thanks for the update.

Regarding the RSS feed – you are indeed correct about the missing <p> tag – adding a CR between the shortcode part works and I thank you for your observation sir – we are due to migrate a few hundred pages with a template based on this page so well spotted!

Having fixed the broken <p> tag still the feed is empty …if you check the feed now you will see the page shows up when no carousel is present.

    Regards

Hmm, ok. Can you re-add the carousel in so that I can see if there is any other issue affecting it.

    Thanks,

    Hi Sam,

Unfortunately don’t think I’m going to be able to look at it yet, got some higher priority stuff to look into.

Will get to this as soon as I can though.

Indeed, as do I! – I was actually referring to the template update mainly – you said above

“We’re going to hopefully be releasing the next update this week.”

I am still only seeing the option to update to 1.4.3 in the dashboard?

Been looking into this, but can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work with the carousel.

It seems that you’ve got a lot of 404s for JS files, so I’m wondering if that is causing some kind of issue?

I’ve checked out that page, and can’t see any HTML errors that are related to the carousel, which is why I’m struggling to see the cause of the issue. It’s probably not logical to have this carousel on the page if you’re concerned about the rss feed, as this would add extra data to each rss item?

Apologies, wasn’t aware that you were waiting on the update, i’ve linked the latest version where the filter issue should be fixed – http://cl.ly/QH8S

    Hi Sam,

I kept the version at 1.4.3 for that zip, so that when 1.4.4 is released, or 1.5, it will show as an update, and you won’t be left out of the auto-update for that.

Can you please confirm the category select issue, by deleting and re-adding the assets? I’ve tested this here, working as expected.

I’ll try and find some time to look into the carousel issue.

uh-huh …it’s late and perhaps i’m having a blond moment but what ‘assets’ are you referring to – what should I delete? :0s

…and when you say look into the ‘carousel’ issue – i’m assuming you mean the carousel being used in my CPT’s causing the RSS feed to not show up?! – if so wonderful, i could really do with ALL these things working before I start putting hundreds of pages in!

    Regards

    Sam
