Model + CF7 Sumbit Error

Hey Guys,

I added a model behind button on slider. When i press submit the modal is closed. Modal should remain open.

All inputfields are “compulsory” so when i dont enter all inputfields and hit submit the modal closes. When i press button again CF7 is visible with red borders and warning to place text in inputfields.

Please help me out.

You mean the form should remain open and should give validation errors if the data is not being inputted?

Hi,

it seems that it doesn’t work inside the slide content. I tried the same code in a new page and it works fine.

Any change of placing the modal button below the slider in the content of the page has an alternative?

Yes, i understand that is possible, but it isn’t a nice solution. This guy made a own modal plugin and he had the problem as well. He just updated his modal with some extra code to prevent this from happening: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/modal-closes-on-cf7-form-submit

Hey Rui,

Was testing Revolution slider instead of Swift slider.
Also tested: Master slider and Layer Slider.

The modal is working (rev and master slider), but responsive/mobile is terrible with these sliders.

I placed back the swift slider! Which gives the best results for responsive/mobile.

Can you maybe see why Master and Rev slider are working with modal and Swift slider isn’t working…

At the moment this is what I got.

I started creating a new slide from scratch and it seems to work.

Than I copied the same content to one of your slides and I didn’t worked. So I reminded that this happens because the form contact is included in the code several times creating this behavior.

Realized you switched the Slider while we don’t have the fix. Couldn’t find yet the problem, tomorrow will replicate it in my install to see if can find a solution for you.
