    Hey,

I have noticed a few issues with the Cardinal mobile overlay option. This become especially apparent when comparing it to the same implementation on your Joyn theme.

Now I know there is purposely differentiation of features/style etc. between themes, but I don’t think that is what I am highlighting here; its more to do with the standard features of the Swift mobile overlay menu implementation and how some of them don’t see to be being applied to Cardinal – I am open to correction though and this may be a feature request.

Made a brief screen-cast going through it, link in next post.

    Thanks.

    Hi Anthony,

Yes – this was a recent change in Joyn. Will be applying it to Cardinal too for v1.91

    Hey Ed,

Thanks for including this in v1.91.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems one thing is still missing in comparison to Joyn. i.e. The sub-menus are not collapsible. So in my screen-cast linked in this thread, you can see that by clicking on Joyns “Pages 1” and “Pages 2” and it will collapse/un-collapse all of the menu items.

That does not happen in Cardinal even after the latest update. Was that intentional or…

    Thanks.

Thanks Anthony, apologies for those issues. Have resolved, and plan to update again later or tomorrow with the tabs/tour fixes.

    No bother,

I am guessing the CSS changes made to the overlay menu were also applied to the slideout menu and that caused the spacing issues.

With that said, just looking at an older build of Cardinal and the lack of spacing between the menu text and its icon was present in older versions of the theme as well.

    Thanks.

    Yes that’s correct.

Odd that the icon spacing wasn’t there, it’s been fine on the demo.. Will have a look.
