the mobile menu flashes on briefly and is then replaced with a black screen.
this happens both on my site and testing with dante.swiftideas.net
tested on windows mobile 8.0 and 8.1June 8, 2014 at 7:52 am #80863Hi,
What is your mobile model? Can you provide us a screenshot?
Best Regards,
RuiJune 8, 2014 at 8:22 am #80865phone is a nokia 1020.
just noticed the menu on the side – shows just outside page area to the left in portrait mode.
shows in landscape, but does not accept touch (just goes back to original page).June 10, 2014 at 8:35 am #81381Hi
Please confirm you are using the latest version of Dante?

June 10, 2014 at 9:33 am #81410I’m sorry, are you telling me you can’t even keep your own demo theme updated. You can’t be serious. As stated in the 1st post – it has been tested on your demo site “dante.swiftideas.net” and my site with the same result. Yes my version is the latest 2.56
As this is going nowhere can I assume your theme does support windows mobiles. Is there a work around, or another product that will give me a mobile menu that will work with your theme?

June 11, 2014 at 1:49 am #81624Hi @virtualeyesNZ,
We don’t currently have any Windows mobile devices to test, but I’m trying my best to sort out a test environment so that we can check this out!
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

June 11, 2014 at 6:24 am #81649cheers.
have found it works on the old Windows phone OS 7.8 (2 versions back)
June 12, 2014 at 9:39 am #81963Hi,
You most welcome . It seems that issue resolved.
Thanks 🙂
With Best Regards
Swift IdeasJune 12, 2014 at 9:56 am #81977Um, hang on, this issue is not resolved. I have only pointed out that the crappy mobile menu only works on out of date windows phones.
It does not work on current windows phones.
It does not work on the new windows OS due soon.
Please leave this for the developer to sort out.
June 12, 2014 at 2:33 pm #82037Hi @virtualeyesNZ,
Apologies for Mohammad’s confusion.
I’ve spent hours trying to find/set up a way to test & debug Windows Mobile, but it seems nigh on impossible.
I’ve got some ideas of a possible fix without the need for testing, let me set up a fixed build for you and I’ll send it over as soon as possible.

June 15, 2014 at 1:30 am #82499hey Ed
great work on the menu – works perfect. pops up directly above page and works on all versions.
can you please tell me what files changes, so I can copy them across to the child theme?

just one more thing… never thought to check because it is normally a given, BUT your theme does not scroll on windows mobile OS 8 or 8.1
looked at topic http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/windows-phone-8-wont-scroll/ and tried their updated javascript, but screwed up the menu.
do you have a revision booked in to address this?

June 16, 2014 at 5:38 pm #82846The only changes were /style.css & /js/functions.js. After that, try changing line 86 to:
if (isMobile && !jQuery.browser.msieMobile10 && !isIEMobile) {
That should hopefully sort it!
