I am experiencing problems with the Mobile Menu for our site on both Windows phone and iPhone/iPad devices.

On the Windows phone, the menu option is displayed but when you tap the menu it briefly displays and is then immediately replaced by a white screen

On iPhone/iPad, the menu option is not displayed at all

Please can you let me know what I need to do to resolve these issues

    Thanks

Apparently, the menu works on iPhones when viewed in ‘landscape’ mode, but not when the phone is held vertically in ‘portrait’ mode.

    Hi

Could you do me a favour and remove your custom css, to check if the issue remains? I think that it’s something in your css that’s causing the menu not to show on mobile, you have a lot of margin top rules for the logo, and the mobile menu is inside the logo div

I removed the custom css that i had put in to get the ‘mailto’ link working and that didn’t resolve the issues. i have seen another thread in the forums that discusses the issues i’m seeing on a windows phone so I really just need to figure out why the mobile menu only displays on iPhone when it is held in ‘landscape’ mode

    Hi

Did you remove ALL of your custom css like I asked? Not sure what you’re referring to with the ‘mailto’ link. That’s not your custom css.

Everything that you’ve added to Theme Options > Custom CSS.. remove it. Then I can see if it’s caused by your custom css, which I think it is

I have removed all of the custom css that I have added. However, someone else was maintaining the site before me, so I cannot definitively say that ALL custom css has been removed.

Is there anyway to reset the css to default values ? I was going to use the ‘reset to default’ option but didn’t know if that would just reset the css or if it would impact other customizations.

Basically, go to Theme Options > Custom CSS, and remove everything that’s in that box, make sure you copy and paste it somewhere so you don’t lose it

I still see all of this in your custom css? (see screenshot)

Please provide me with a login so I can do it for you

You needed to empty the cache from WP Total Cache

If you check now, you will see that the mobile menu shows, which means it was your custom css that caused the issue

    Okay, thanks

I guess that now I need to figure out what the custom css was doing and replicate it without breaking the mobile menu

My guess is it was the negative margins you set for the logo
