— VIEW ALL ARTICLESCart button:
— View cartCart page:
— Cart
— Update CartCheckout page:
— ShippingAccount page:
— Hello ****** ****** (not ****** ******? Sign out). From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit your password and account details. Please let me know how I can translate these word/phrases.
November 18, 2015 at 6:56 pm #229755Hi,
Have you set your site language to Italian?
To amend the translations:
1) Download POEdit https://poedit.net/
2) Download your language file from your ftpatelier/languages/it_IT.po
3) Search through your strings and amend the translations. Save your file.
4) Fuzzy strings, marked in yellow will need to be un-ticked: Edit => mark as fuzzy
4) When finished, click File => Compile to MO.
5) Upload your new language files BOTH it_IT.po and it_IT.mo to the folderatelier/languages/
If you encounter any issues, please add a WP login and your FTP details.
Thanks,
David.December 28, 2015 at 6:48 pm #237433I have the same problem, and it’s not as simply as edit/add the translation to the string..
Last string ready to trasnlate is:
#: woocommerce/wishlist.php:434
msgid “Ask an estimate of costs”
msgstr “”After that, we find lots of strings where the source is missing. Then, it is not as easy as add the translation term:
Example:
line: 11848 #~ msgid "VIEW ALL ARTICLES" #~ msgstr "VER TODOS LOS ARTÍCULOS" #~ msgid "VIEW ALL PRODUCTS" #~ msgstr "VER TODOS LOS PRODUCTOS"
Translated without source, USELESS.
I ask you to solve this issue.
December 29, 2015 at 3:55 pm #237577@Oriol90, you will need to add the translations.
When you have added your translations save the .po file, then also click File => Compile to MO.
Upload both new files to your /language/ folder.
Thanks.
December 30, 2015 at 11:05 pm #237764Maybe I did not explain it well.
I know how to add translations, how to complie .po to .mo files and how to upload the translations and I’ve already done that to change some translations, what I’m saying is that there are some terms on the .po files that can not be translated because is missing the source, the place where this translation goes.
For that I put the example of some terms, that are included on the original .po file that are not sourced, linked to anyplace, then, it do not care what translation do you do of the term because it isn’t linked to the place where it should appear.
There are several of this terms, but specifically the one that says: ~ msgid “VIEW ALL PRODUCTS”, phrase that is placed on the homepage to show woocommerce products is lacking of this problem.
Please read again, test it.
Waiting for a solution.
January 4, 2016 at 12:51 pm #238101Hi,
Now I understand you, thanks for clarifying.
I’ll run this by our developer to see what we can do, it maybe the case that we can regenerate a .po file for you.
Thanks.

4) Fuzzy strings, marked in yellow will need to be un-ticked: Edit => mark as fuzzy
