    Can anyone tell me how I add individual meta tags for each page of my dante website? We have a couple pages we don’t want to appear in google search results and I have found a meta tag from google, but I am not sure where to add this meta tag. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

    We have that plugin already and I have set the setting to not index those specific pages but it does not appear to be doing anything. Those pages still appear in google search results. Which is why I searched for another solution, and found a meta tag from google. The meta tag is <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex”> and they say that it needs to go in the <head> section of each page.

    Now I know this may be out of your job parameters, but I just need you to point me in the right direction and then I can figure it out from there.

    Well there is only one header.php file so adding that would add noindex to every page. The YOAST SEO plugin will do this when you add check the box to not index the page. It will not take affect straight away if the page is already indexed by Google

    Yeah I have selected the option to not index on the pages we want a week or two ago. I did read up that sometimes you have to force Google to recrawl your website for them to see that you made changes to that. Would you say that is my best bet right now for getting them to reindex our website?

    Yes that may be what you need to do. If that does not work please contact the plugin developer as this is not a theme issue
