Hi Kyle, David, Rui everyone ๐Ÿ™‚

okay some questions about the various menus. I”ve had a look in the documentation David gave me a link to, had a look in the forum and am a bit confused as to where the various menus show up on the site (and i know that depends on where you tell them to show up).

    What is the Overlay menu?
The main menu is the one that shows up on laptop on the top of the page?
what is the difference between the mobile menu and the mobile slide out menu? one is on the upper left and only shows up when you click on it, the other? and which is which?
Top Bar menu – i get this confused with the main menu – probably due to the name but i havent been able to make it show up on my site do dont know where it is.

Footer menu ๐Ÿ˜‰ easy peasy… but i have a question about that too! Some sites have a footer menu that allows you to tap it and then scroll to the heading you want — hope you know what i mean by this as i cant find a screen cap off hand.. our footer menu is just a list of whatever i stick in there when i save it. I am wondering if there is another way to make it look more pleasing.. or to get the sub menu items to work on it like they do on the slide out mobile menu and the top site nav menu? the items show up as sub menu items on the back end but when i view on mobile they’re just all stacked up in one visible menu. maybe i’m missing something. Thanks.

    Hi

We have a variety of menus to choose from, the main menu is the visible menu in the header, the overlay menu is only used if you have enabled the overlay menu aux item (3 bar icon on desktop). The mobile slide out menu slides out, where as the normal one is an overlay, same as the desktop one.

The topbar menu is what is used when you have enabled the topbar, and have chosen topbar menu as either the left or right config.

About the footer question, the idea of it is a list of pages for one of your footer columns

thanks Kyle. I found the menus! I wasnt sure where to make them ‘seen’ but found it and played around with them so now i know where they show up on the site – as well as where to make them show up or hide them – and now i can edit them in the appearance/menu section. Thanks!
