Menu items invisible

Question1: When the site is displayed on a laptop, the items in the menu items are invisible.

When on a tablet or phone, the menu items are visible.

I looked at colour customisation, but it does not seem the issue (maybe I’m wrong). I also looked at Appearance>Menu. It happened very early on when I started customising the site. But there was not evident cause to me.

Question2: in The footer: is there a way to add Social Media icons (eg: Twitter bird icon, the one that shows in my header) in the footer instead of a text link?

I also have a question re. Twitter feed in the second footer column: it’s not showing.
