    Is there a way to change the menu bar to black? If I go to color customizer -> color header, and select Header Background Color Gradient Top and Bottom I can change the color but it also changes the portion of the page where the site title resides which I want to leave unchanged.

    Hi

    You can add this to your custom css:

    #header-section > #main-nav {
  border-top-color: #333333;
  background-color: #111111;
}

    You will need to change your color options to make the text light.

    Hi Kyle, thanks for providing this CSS. I added the CSS to the custom CSS section within the Theme Options section. When I view the website now, the navigation bar flashes black and then turns back to white and stays white. Any suggestions?

    Was there ever any solution to this? I am experiencing the same issue. My navigation bar top border starts off black and then turns white and stays white.
