Margin between images in portfolio

Is possible and easy to set a separation of, for example, 2 pixels between images in a portfolio? I’ll try to add this gap between images in rows and columns for an easy viewing. I suppose that it must be set on CSS code, but I don’t know where.

Can you add a screenshot of what you mean? as the portfolio items seem to be separated already.
