Map plugin

Hi,

I am looking to either use the Google map plugin that came installed with the theme or find a WordPress plugin that will be most compatible with Dante.

I am looking for a map plugin that can statically show 9 locations on a map of the US. I also need to be able to click on each location have it take me to another page within the site. Is this something the Google map plugin that comes with the site can do?

Currently, I have been trial and erroring with Basic Google Maps PLacemarks plugin. I have attached the error message that occurs when I try to use the plugin right now. https://wordpress.org/plugins/basic-google-maps-placemarks/installation/

But when I go through the installation process it says that i need to add something to the functions php code (at the bottom of the page) and I am not 100% sure how to do that and I dont want to mess up anything within the site. I want to use the plugin for a map with multiple locations.

Is this something you can help me with?

Hi,

I have not used that plugins specifically so cannot comment. You should not need to place anything in the theme files as the theme will process the shortcode by default.

Do you know of any plugins that would support a multi-location map? The place marks need to be clickable and take me to a different page within the website.

I ended up just creating a jpeg of a map in the branded colors to better meet our needs.
