    Hi Guys,
    Firstly huge fan of your themes! I’m using Atelier and wish to display a video as the thumbnail for posts (as per the thumbnail type selection) but I don’t want the video thumbnail to play when clicked, rather I want it to open the post in the same window.

    I’m hoping there’s some custom code for this. Thanks in advance!

    Hi

    Doesn’t really make sense to have a video as a thumbnail if it’s not intended to play, just use a static image for the thumbnail (for e.g. a screenshot of the video) then use the video for the detail media

    Hi Kyle,
    Thanks for your reply. It makes sense if you are planning on having a lot of video heavy posts. Inputting a video URL is a lot quicker than creating a thumbnail of the video. I’m trying to save time.

    Ok fair point. Unfortunately it’s not possible to have the video link to the post itself
