    Ok – so I updated my theme and it works. But now the description is misplaced – underneath the product images. Ahh – I’m such a disaster. Sorry!! Any ideas?

    Have you got page builder enabled? There are several different places for descriptions. If you put a bit of text in each one when editing a product you will see what goes where
