Major lagging on scroll

Hey there, I’m sure this is plugin related as I just added a lot of new functionality to the site via various plugins and scrolling has become almost non-existant … crazy slow.

I’m hoping you might be able to shed some light on how to get the plugins playing nice with the theme, or some hints to get the site running smooth again.

The plugin’s are really needed for what we’d like to get out of the site / eCommerce / affiliate management / available in many languages / quick access to support etc.

Any insight you can give me would be much appreciated!

Hi Mike,

Looks like they are causing a few JS errors: http://d.pr/i/1iRCr

I’d suggest removing those plugins to remove the JS errors.

They also seem to come from your child theme, have you tested with this deactivated.

thanks for the tips … I found the culprit for the lag, it was an SVG plugin (which I’ve now removed).

With the errors you mentioned, what is causing that do you know? Is it just a file path error (can’t be found)? If so, do you know where I would change the file path?

Hi Mike,

I would suspect they originate from your child theme CSS, look like you are loading some assets from within that file. However it looks like you have also resolved those.
