    Hello,

    http://www.thecorran.coom

    I want to add another main menu item, for which it looks like I have ample room, however when I add this item, the menu changes so that it’s over two lines. I guess it’s got something to do with this NAV#main-navigation.twelve.columns.alpha but I don’t know what the limiting aspect is.

    Can you help please?

    Thanks

    Edo

    Please use this custom css:

    #main-navigation {
    width: 100%;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi Melanie,

    That worked great thank you – I just have another question.
    When scrolling down a page the main menu follows at the top of the page, and at this point the full width aspect is lost.

    Is there another bit of code I need to edit to have that as full width too?

    Many Thanks

    Edo

    Hi, your menu looks the same on your website whether I scroll down or not. Can you set it up so I can see the error you’re referring to?

    Hi Mel,

    I don’t understand what you mean by ‘set it up so you can see the error’…
    Regardless of which browser I use to view the site, when scrolling down the menu doubles in height as per my previously attached images.

    If it’s not doing the same for you, would you please do a screenshot and attach it here?

    Thanks

    Edo

    You asked about having the menu full width – but now you say it’s about the height… can you please specify what the problem is?

    Hi Melanie, I’m sorry for not explaining myself properly.
    Have you looked at my screengrabs attachments? They show the issue.

    As I understand it, the main navigation panel ‘had’ an issue where the number of menu items was restricted to 3/4 the width of the menu. With your first CSS edit suggestion, this sorted the problem.

    However…

    One of the features of the theme is ‘mini header’ – where the nav menu follows the page down on scrolling. It’s when this is working that the menu starts to look like the 2nd attachment above.

    Make sense?

    Edo

    Ah now we’re on the same page 🙂

    This will help:

    #mini-navigation {
    width: 100%;
    }
