Hi,
In the ‘Main detail options’ I have selected only “Include related articles”, (not “Include author info” and not “Include social sharing”, but the author info comes anyway. Can you help me? Doesn’t it work? Thanks, ๐
July 28, 2013 at 11:01 am #13240Hello!
Do you know something about this? Can you help me with that?
Thank you.
July 28, 2013 at 11:59 am #13255I have just posted a new article today and I did uncheck the author bio since I am using fancy author and things are working OKAY. Yo just have to make sure the box is unchecked.
July 29, 2013 at 5:27 pm #13471Hi,
I had the box unchecked in all my posts.
I have tried to check it – save – uncheck again and it seems to work, so I will try it in all of them again and if it works, I’ll make them public.Thank you for your help.
July 30, 2013 at 7:05 am #13528Everytime you make changes, just make sure you clear your browser’s cache..That is what I do everytime I make changes with this theme..:-)
July 30, 2013 at 6:28 pm #13639Hi,
After trying it with my browser’s cache previously cleaned, and tasting it with some posts already written and with some new posts, I found that the only way to make it work is writing the post and saving it with the option checked, and then uncheck it and save it again. But it never works for me if I uncheck it when I write the post at first, as I think it should do.
It is not how it is supposed to be working, is it?
Am I the only person who is having this issue?Thank you for your help ๐
August 8, 2013 at 8:07 pm #15288So is this happening for newly created posts? Not posts that were already there before installing our theme?
Because I know there are issues with old posts in this regard, not with posts that you create after installing the theme. Can you please confirm this, as I’d need to inform the developer if that’s the case.

Support AssistantAugust 8, 2013 at 10:21 pm #15348Hi Cosmin,
Before instaling Supreme I had Flexform, with is also yours, and after having a few unsolved issues, I decided trust Swift Ideas again and get Supreme. To avoid any possible remaining failure, I deleted everything from the server, instaled the theme from 0, and I’m introducing all posts one by one again.
So, all posts are new, and all the issues are new too.
Hope you can help me.
Thank you!!
August 9, 2013 at 12:19 pm #15426Hmmm, this shouldn’t be happening for new posts. Can you please privately reply with your WP admin login for me to have a look at the setup?

I had already told you on JULY 30 that
“tasting it with some posts already written and with some new posts, I found that the only way to make it work is writing the post and saving it with the option checked, and then uncheck it and save it again. But it never works for me if I uncheck it when I write the post at first, as I think it should do.”Sending you the web on private now.
Thanks.

Ok, I see what’s happening. If you check the top of single.php you’ll find:
if ($show_author_info == "") { $show_author_info = true; } $show_social = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'sf_social_sharing', true); if ($show_social == "") { $show_social = true; } $show_related = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'sf_related_articles', true); if ($show_related == "") { $show_related = true; }
These basically set the value to true if they haven’t been set. If you’d prefer them to be false, then please change the ones you wish.

August 14, 2013 at 4:07 pm #16483Hi,
I don’t understand what you mean. You mean I have to change something somewhere?
I don’t want to disable that option, just want to be able to chose in which ones that info is seen and in which it is not. Isn’t it supposed that the only thing I have to do is check/uncheck the box depending on the option I prefer for every post?
Then how can it be solved?
Sorry about the setup, I will send it to you, :).
