    Hi I’m having a little issue with the Love it button, if some one clicks several times very quickly, the love counter sums several clicks (loves) before the message of “you have already loved this post” appears, is there a way to fix this?

    Hi Diego,

    The problem is that the Love It plugin used for that, will prevent further clicking only if it gets confirmation from the PHP script that the item was “loved”.

    The above process requires that a database call is performed and this takes a little, it’s unavoidable and it’s enough for what you describe to happen.

    Question. How can you prevent people from ‘loving’ an item more than once? At least per ip address.

    The plugin has no option in this regard.
