Thats Weird, Do you have a very slow Internet connection ? . Also what local setup are you running ?. You could try reducing php execution time.
Ed, Should probably have more idea about this. Have assigned this thread to him.

January 28, 2014 at 9:27 am #45212I have the same problem. I have very longs waiting times when charging pages.
I have tried to to remove plugins one by one, but no changes.
Sometime the page takes 30 – 40 seconds to charge completely and sometime the page remains charging for more than one minutes or never charges completely.
With another theme I don’t have this problem.
Any help?
January 28, 2014 at 4:53 pm #45359Hey guys,
This is likely due to your WordPress php memory, can you try increasing it with this plugin – http://wordpress.org/plugins/change-memory-limit/
I’ll keep an eye on the topic.
Not got any issues here, so can only assume this is set up related. Either way, we’ll assist ๐

It’s stuck for the 9 out of 10 seconds, and then loads instantly in that last second.
I’d take this up with your host if I was you!

February 26, 2014 at 10:09 pm #52232Thanks Ed, I appreciate you looking into it. I had actually checked with my host before asking you guys, and they gave me the same generic “here are some links to read about speeding up your WP site.” And I know your theme, while robust, is optimized. Is there any specifics you could provide in regards to the wait time at the host that I could provide to them to get them to look into it further?
February 27, 2014 at 2:19 pm #52499Hi
It’s simply just the servers that you have, if your WordPress site is new and you do not have loads of plugins installed, then it is nothing to do with having to optimize the site. Do you have other sites on your server? If so do they take as long to load?
