Logo resize

Hi!

Got some trouble with the logo automatic resize…

I’ve managed to make it automaticaly resize only once by playing a lot with the buttons in the header option panel, but it seems like if I change logo the menu gets over the logo, it does not go down to let space for the logo…

If I add a bottom spacing it still does not work, entering the logo size in height or width either…

I’ve been able to do it by entering a manual height of 125 px.. weird that automaticaly it don’t work…

Is the theme should be able to automatically re size the logo?

I have to insert a custom logo height so it fits in the screen, but if I do that and I change my browser size, its not responsive anymore, weird results…

Well,

I did not leaved it with the wrong look I gave you in the screenshot.

In the documentation it says : If you upload an image with a bigger height than this, it will automatically be scaled to fit.

I uploaded a bigger logo than 42 px, but it does not automatically scale himself, so I have to enter a custom logo height (125 px) in the theme option panel.

Logo Height
Please enter the height of your logo here (standard size). This is optional, and if you do not provide anything here then the logo area height will be restricted to 42px. Numerical value (no px).

So, is it normal that I have to do this?

I’m not sure if that’s still the case as users used to have issues with logo sizes, so we added the logo size options. We need to update the option descriptions

Hi,

Sometime I use a lot of time to understand an information that makes no sense when I try to actually put that information in action with an option on my website.

So, yeah, updating information in your documentation an in the option panels in the website is very important to stay efficient when users work with your themes.

I can remember 2 or 3 times that such things happened, I would rather put that time on producing content..
